President Putin’s decision to seize U.S. diplomatic property and expel some of our personnel will not change the fact that Russia will face consequences for its interference in our election, its intervention in eastern Ukraine, and its illegal occupation of Crimea.  The House and the Senate have now passed a tough sanctions bill by veto-proof margins, and it is incumbent upon the President to sign this legislation.

The Senate has now rejected every option to repeal outright or repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act that President Trump and Senator McConnell put before it. It could not be clearer that there is no majority to take the benefits of this law away from millions of Americans.
