Over 400 days have gone by since House Republicans took the majority, and they still haven’t put forward a comprehensive jobs plan. So, what did they do today?
If you thought they talked about creating jobs and growing our economy, think again. Instead, they held a meeting to discuss their message once again:
“Does the Republican Party have a messaging problem? Members of the House of Representatives freshman class seem to think so. And in order to try and remedy the situation, seven of them met Thursday morning in a Longworth House Office Building conference room, to discuss what they needed to be better at communicating to the American people.”
Hint for our Republican friends: 400 days without a comprehensive jobs plan and putting middle class tax cuts at risk are probably a bigger problem than your message.
