In recognition of the Global Days for Darfur campaign, the Office of the Majority Leader is launching a page on its website focusing on Sudan.  The Global Days campaign began today and runs through April 30th.

The Sudan webpage includes information on the bipartisan Congressional Delegation that Leader Hoyer led to Sudan, as well as a video message from Leader Hoyer discussing the trip, photo albums from the CODEL's visits to Darfur, Juba, and Khartoum, and information on how to get involved in stopping the genocide in Darfur.

The House of Representatives is observing Global Days for Darfur by considering a suspension bill on Wednesday.  Sponsored by Congresswoman Barbara Lee, one of the Members on the recent CODEL to Sudan, this bill will call on the League of Arab States to acknowledge the genocide in Darfur and to increase their efforts to stop it.
