Candidates should have excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Duties include identifying and advancing policy proposals, committee hearing and mark-up preparation, meetings with stakeholders, and assisting with constituent correspondence. Successful candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in a team environment.
