WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today regarding the schedule of the U.S. House of Representatives:
“After months of hearings, discussions and deliberations on health care reform, the House will remain in session this weekend as we move toward completing our work on this critical issue.  To that end, the House will meet at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 19th, as planned.  The House will also meet on Saturday, March 20th, at 9 a.m., and on Sunday, March 21st, at 1 p.m.  In addition to health care reform legislation, the House will consider H.R. 3644, the Ocean, Coastal, and Watershed Education Act; and H.R. 1612, the Public Lands Service Crops Act.”
