TOMORROW’S OUTLOOK
The GOP Leadership has not announced the legislative schedule for the remainder of this week, but Members are advised that votes are expected in the House tomorrow, Monday, December 31. 

Members are also advised that the House may be in session through Wednesday, January 2.  Further scheduling information regarding what legislation may be on the Floor will be announced as it becomes available. Any potential absences should be reported to the Whip’s office at x5-3130.

"The 112th Congress is limping to a formal close next week with the dubious distinction of passing fewer bills into law than any Congress in decades. Its dismal record will come as no surprise to anyone who’s been watching the post-election lame duck session consumed by lawmakers’ inability — so far — to craft a deal to avert the year-end 'fiscal cliff.' But the number of legislative disputes that they have failed to resolve while they have been failing to craft a budget deal is equally striking.
