The GOP Leadership has announced the following schedule for Tuesday, January 24: The House will meet at 12:00 p.m. for legislative business. The House is expected to consider bills listed for consideration under suspension of the Rules. At approximately 5:00 p.m., the House will recess to allow for a security sweep of the House Chamber prior to the President’s State of the Union address. The House will meet again at approximately 8:35 p.m. in a joint session with the Senate for the purpose of receiving an address from the President of the United States.
