TOMORROW: Hoyer, House Democrats to Hold Press Conference on Voter Empowerment Act

WASHINGTON, DC – House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) will join Democratic Assistant Leader James Clyburn (SC-6), Rep. John Lewis (GA-5), Rep. John Conyers (MI-14), Rep. Robert Brady (PA-1), Rep. Charles Gonzalez (TX-20), Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (MO-5), and Rep. Judy Chu (CA-32) at a press conference tomorrow, May 17 at 12:00 p.m. to unveil the Voter Empowerment Act. The bill aims to protect voters by providing more access to the ballot, integrity in our voting systems and accountability in our elections.
