Democrats from across the spectrum continue to announce their support for passing health care reform, legislation that will bring down costs and produce long-term savings for families and businesses.

Boccieri to Vote ‘Yes’ on Health Care Bill
“House Democratic leaders added another key vote Friday morning, with Rep. John Boccieri (D-Ohio) switching from ‘no’ to ‘yes’ on the health care overhaul.”
 
Engel Declares Himself a Yes
“Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) announced on MSNBC this morning that he will vote for the health care bill” – saying the bill does “the right thing for health care.”
 
Shea-Porter Says She'll Vote Yes on Health Care
“New Hampshire Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter says she will be voting yes to the health care bill” – saying the bill “provides affordable health care for the middle-class and small businesses, and because it will reduce the deficit by $138 billion over the next 10 years.”

“Rep. Dina Titus declared Friday morning she will vote for the landmark health care bill, saying it will bring ‘common sense’ to insurance coverage and other components of medical care on which families and small businesses rely.”
 
Wilson Announces He Will Support Health Care Bill
“A House Democrat from Ohio who had previously been undecided on the health care bill before Congress has announced he will support the measure. Representative Charlie Wilson announced Friday he will vote ‘yes’ on the bill in light of an analysis from the Congressional Budget Office that predicts the bill would reduce the federal deficit.”

“Rep. Bart Gordon, a fiscally conservative Democrat from Tennessee, says the legislation headed for a House vote on Sunday accomplishes three things. He says it reduces health care costs for families and small businesses; improves access to affordable care and doesn't block anyone with a pre-existing condition; and lowers the deficit. ‘That's why I am supporting it,’ he says.”

“Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman James Oberstar (D-Minn.), one of the staunchest anti-abortion-rights Democrats in the House, said Wednesday he will now back the health care overhaul” – saying the bill “prohibits the use of federal funds for abortion.”
 
Anti-Abortion Rep. Kildee Backs Health Bill
Rep. Dale Kildee said Wednesday he is convinced Senate abortion language would ensure no federal money is spent on the procedure, clearing the way for him to support the overall health care bill – saying that “There is nothing more pro-life than protecting the lives of 31 million Americans.”
 
Kucinich Is Now a Yes on Health Care Reform
