WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (MD) released the following statement this afternoon regarding the terrorist attack at a Jewish seminary in Jerusalem that killed at least seven people and wounded 10 others:
“I want to express my sincere condolences to the State of Israel and the families of those who were murdered and injured in today’s terrorist attacks at the Mercaz Harav seminary. There is absolutely no justification for this savage terrorist attack on innocent students, and all those who believe in peace and the rule of law should condemn it. At this difficult time, our Israeli allies should know that the United States stands by their side, as partners in this war on terrorism, hatred and intolerance.”
